Adapted from  Zahrada’s  and The First Mess‘s recipe

Dirty Chai = Chai latte with an espresso shot. Dirty Chai Latte Protein Pancakes = same thing, but in pancake form and with an extra bunch of protein.

Macros for whole recipe (about 6 pancakes): Protein 67g/Fat 17g/Carbs 46g/Fiber 5g/Calories 590

Ingredients:

1 cup 2% Low Fat Cottage Cheese

2 large eggs

1/2 cup dry Quaker old fashioned oatmeal

1/4 cup Splenda

32g Optimum Nutrition Creamy Vanilla Casein powder (or your choice of protein powder)

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1 1/2 teaspoon finely ground coffee

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

1/4 teaspoon ground cardamon

pinch ground nutmeg

pinch ground cloves

1 tablespoon Walden Farms pancake syrup (can use maple syrup too, just adjust macros)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

1. In a blender or food processor, blend all the ingredients until the batter is smooth.

2. Heat a griddle or nonstick skillet over medium heat. Spray with nonstick cooking spray

3. Drop about 1/4 Cup of batter onto the hot griddle/skillet and cook pancake for about 2 minutes (or until it’s gold on the underside and it’s beginning to set). Flip pancake and cook for another 2 minutes. Repeat until all the batter is done.

4. Serve with your choice of topping! (I topped mine with sugar free preserves.)
