Overview

How would you like to finally hit that one plate overhead press? Or four plate deadlift? Or maybe you want to hoist atlas stones. Whatever your strength goal, I can help you get there.

I believe in a simple (not to be confused with easy) approach to building strength. I use time tested methods to help you build strength and prepare for a variety of sports. They are simple and effective methods that can be customized for your specific needs.

I have been trained to think logically and critically through a problem. So if you have special needs or particular issues that require adjustments in your training, I am more than willing to figure out a solution for you. My own training must be very flexible because I have arthritis - and I must listen to what my body is telling me. Multiple injuries have taught me that I must be patient and allow for slow adaptation.

These lessons serve me well as I have coached several athletes to personal records and personal success.

Above all, I know the difference between seeking to succeed at reaching YOUR goals and seeking to reach my goals. We will work together to reach your goal. I will find the most helpful method.

FAQs

How many hours a week will I need to work out?
You should plan on four 1 hour sessions a week. Depending on your specific needs, you may need more time.
Do I have to have a gym membership?
No, but you will need to have access to barbells, weight plates, some type of equipment that you can do squats and presses in, and the willingness to adapt.
What if I have no weight training experience?
This program is designed for anyone at entry level. No experience required.
Why should I choose you as my coach?
While I am a certified fitness trainer, I have a lifetime of learning in strength sports and athletics. I know when to admit I am wrong, and know when to correct course. I am at your service.
