FAQs

Do I need bumper plates?
If you want to do olympic weightlifting, you will definitely need bumper plates. The bumper plates will set the bar at the correct height from the floor no matter what weight you're pulling, but they are also crucial for protecting the bar, the floor, and your own health.
Do I need to do olympic weightlifting?
If your goal is to get stronger, lose fat, gain muscle, or a bigger butt, there's no need to do olympic weightlifting. Olympic weightlifting is only needed if that's your goal.
What kind of programming can I expect?
Depending on your goals and training experience, programming will be either three or four days a week. Training will typically involve barbells and other free weight equipment.
What if I need to take a week off or go on vacation during the program?
Taking time off is perfectly fine--just let your coach know and your programming will be adjusted to fit your needs.
