Back by popular demand, Fitness Over 40 has helped dozens of Fitocracy members get healthier and more fit...now it's YOUR turn. 

Are you tired of having carefree millennials with the metabolic advantage of youth preach to you about how if you just put in more effort and willpower you'd easily reach your fitness goals? It's time for a new focus on fitness... one that is realistic and realistically HEALTHY.

Fitness Over 40 is designed for those of us who have been around the block a few times. Previous injuries, crazy career and family schedules, slowed metabolisms and a lack of mobility can all seem like insurmountable obstacles once we hit our 40's and beyond, but they don't have to be if you workout smarter. I'll show you how with this fun, flexible and easy to understand program.

Whether you're just starting your fitness journey for the first time, jumping back in after a break, or continuing on a lifetime path, the Fitness Over 40 program has been carefully created with adaptable training and nutrition protocols to help you reach your goals and is designed to help you gain strength, improve body composition and increase your sense of well being!

On a personal note

I've been involved in fitness and athletics for more than 20 years and have been helping build better bodies and better athletes for more than a decade. I hold a Personal Training Certification (CPT) from the American College of Sports Medicine and am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength and Conditioning Association and have worked with clients of all types, from stay-at-home moms, to Olympic athletes, to roller derby girls.

I've also been an active member of the Fitocracy community for more than four years and I absolutely love this place! The camaraderie and unfailing support of the Fitocracy family makes this place one of the most inspirational sites on the web and I'm excited to be able to be a part of it. I'm really happy to be able to give something back to the Fito community by offering training programs and nutritional support to help other members achieve their goals!

Oh, and if you couldn't tell by my millennial bashing above,  I'm over 40. ;)

FAQs

Do I really need gym access for this program?
You at least need a very well equipped home gym. The exercises included in this program require access to free weight equipment. If you are interested in an alternative bodyweight program please see my Bands and Bodies program.
I'm a vegetarian. Will the information which you provide still be relevant to me?
Yes. Any dietary restrictions should be outlined in the original questionnaire which will be provided at the beginning of the program and I will give you info suitable for your situation.
I just want to "tone up." Can this program help me with that?
Yes! "Tone up" is just another way to say "add lean body mass and lose body fat" and that's exactly what this program will help you do!
I've had joint injuries & can't do some things. Can the program be modified for me?
Yes. If you have any issues completing an exercise or a workout in this program I can help provide alternatives.
I have time constraints due to careers, kids, pets and a social life... is the program flexible?
Absolutely! Every bit of the program is adaptable to fit even the busiest of schedules.
