Overview

STOP OVER THINKING YOUR FITNESS!

Private coaching gives you the chance to quit worrying about which diet to follow, which training program to use, or if you're making any progress or not. With coaching all YOU have to do is show up and put in the WORK. As a strength coach I develop an exercise and nutrition program to fit your individual goals. This takes your food preferences, equipment availability, injuries, and personal health in to consideration to give you the most optimal results.

Madison lost 20 pounds and increased her deadlift by 100 pounds.

Why Fitocracy?

We can't do it all alone. In addition to a solid program you need guidance. That's what I am here for. You will have constant contact with me through email, direct messages, video calls, and my personal phone. Fitocracy and coaching are both awesome ways to hold you accountable, provide support, and give you a way to track your progress.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to submit exercise videos if you would like help with form or technique. This is not required but highly suggested, especially for movements like squats, deadlifts, and presses. Even if you have great form there could be one small adjustment that takes your strength and muscle gain to a whole new level.

Training Style

Increasing muscle mass is a sure fire way to improve your metabolism, burn more fat, and have a better looking physique. Not to mention the improvements to bone, joint and heart health, These are reasons why my training programs emphasize strength and muscle gain and minimize cardio. This is the same philosophy I have used to help a client drop 4% body fat in one month without an ounce of cardio, and it's the same philosophy that allows you more time outside the gym to focus on other aspects of your life.

Kenneth lost 60 pounds and improved his on the job performance.

Have a sport specific goal? Perfect. I welcome all types of athletes.

I have worked with football and basketball players, powerlifters, fitness competitors, and even CrossFit athletes. Most of these sports could learn a thing or two from each other so my training style blends the best from each world in to one unique program.

"Mason knows whats up. I made serious gains in under 3 months with his program, and the craziest part is I was actually spending LESS time in the gym. On top of that, Mason is great at communicating and providing resources that will help you with proper form and nutrition." - Jason

Nutrition

With so many different diets out there it is hard to know which one is right for you. They all get some things right, and some things wrong. Our nutrition program takes all the things they get right and puts them in to one eating strategy to fit your personal preference. I'll show you how to eat what you want when you want, and how much of it fits your goals. We will be on a mission to find the perfect diet for your body!

The best diet is the one you can see yourself doing a year from now.

You can overeat "clean" foods just as easily as "unhealthy" foods. Without some sort of inventory you have no idea where you stand. Tracking your food is the most optimal way to get to know your body. I would dare to say it is 100% effective. Do you have to track what you eat forever? Absolutely not! Just long enough to realize that you've been eating way too many calories, or way too few in some cases. Instead of stepping on the scale each week with your fingers crossed hoping to lose a pound or two, you will step on the scale and already know what number to expect. You have total control over your weight loss or weight gain and that's a feeling like no other.

ABOUT THE TRAINER

My journey started out as a lanky basketball player. All the way into my early 20s I struggled to put on anything that resembled muscle!

I spent thousands of hours researching and learning everything I could about strength training and nutrition. It took me a long time to sift through all the BS out there on the internet machine, but along the way I picked up a degree in nutritional science and one of the top certifications for fitness professionals.

I am a true student of health and fitness. With experience in bodybuilding, powerlifting, CrossFit, and team sports I have developed a training philosophy that transformed my body as well as those of my clients. My goal is to share my knowledge with anyone who will listen and, of course, make everyone STRONGER.

FAQs

How many hours a week will I need to work out?
3 hours will be about the bare minimum although in some scenarios additional workouts will be given. It depends on your goals and how advanced you are in training.
How is this different from group coaching?
In group coaching members sacrifice a cheaper cost in exchange for a less personalized program. A group consists of a lot of different goals. Anywhere from losing fat to increasing the deadlift by 100 lbs. 1 on 1 allows coaches to build a program that fits your goals best without consideration for other group members.
What type of equipment will I need?
Your program can be modified to what you have available in most cases. Ideally you would have gym access with barbells, dumbbells, cable machine, and possibly kettlebells.
What is your coaching expertise?
Although I have a degree in nutrition my real expertise is in getting stronger and adding muscle. In my experience, increasing muscle mass is the number one way to improve your appearance.
