Schedule

  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Starts: August 10th, 2015
  • Ends: November 15th, 2015

Requirements

  • Familiar with basic movements: squat, deadlift, horizontal & vertical pressing, rowing, chin-ups, push-ups, etc
  • Gym access or access to dumbbells/barbells
  • Ability to train for approx. 45 minutes to an hour, 3-4x a week
  • Tracking devices (food scale, bathroom scale, measuring tape)
  • Macronutrient counting (or willingness to learn)
  • MyFitnessPal or similar macro tracking app recommended, but not required
  • Before & After pictures required (no exceptions)

Due to the popularity of the first Summer Shred (and the fantastic results those Shredders are already getting!) I am opening up a second Summer Shred group to help YOU shred fat and get the body you want!

The heat of summer is upon us and that means beaches, pools, BBQs and sunbathing. But if you’re anything like I use to be, taking off your shirt or going out in a swimsuit may leave you feeling uncomfortable and embarrassed.

But with the help of The Summer Shred, you can change that!

In TSS our goal will be to shred body fat while gaining strength and maintaining the lean muscle mass you need for that sexy summer body.

How We Train

The TSS training program will be built on a solid foundation of strength training to help increase strength and build lean muscle.

It doesn’t end there though! We will also mix in dynamic circuits, high intensity intervals, and metabolic resistance training to help blast fat and get you lean!

This combo is fats worst nightmare, as it will help you get as lean as possible in as little time as possible.

How We Eat

The TSS nutrition program will revolve around tracking macronutrients. Shredding body fat is more than just ‘eating healthy’ or ‘clean’…It requires balancing your diet, and knowing not just what you are eating, but how much.

Counting macros has the advantage in that it is not only the fastest and most efficient way to achieve progress; but it also allows us to easily make adjustments based on what we are seeing. All of this adds up to better results for you!

FAQs

How many hours a week will I have to workout?
Each phase will contain 3-4 workouts each week that will last approximately 45 minutes to an hour.
What is the weekly check-in?
Each week you will fill enter your information into a spreadsheet. This helps me track your progress and make sure the program is working correctly. Information will include weight, measurements, and weekly macro numbers.
How much fat can I lose?
This will be largely dependent on where you are starting from. Progress is never linear, but the goal is for clients to lose approximately 1-2 pounds a week.
Do I have to count macros?
Yes. In order to lose the most fat possible in 12 weeks, you will need to make sure your nutrition is on point. The best way to do that is by counting and tracking macros.
What foods can I eat?
I don't tell clients what to eat, but rather teach clients how to eat, what foods will help them reach their goals, and what ones may not. Flexible dieting is the key to long term success.
