Do you want to take your yoga practice to a new level but feel you lack the strength to achieve more advanced poses like arm balances? Would you like to pursue fitness off of the mat or merge two types of fitness for a healthier you? If you said 'yes' to one or both of these questions, Yoga Body may be the program for you!

As a participant of this program, you will follow progressive yoga practices on video and written bodyweight strength programming for a total of four workouts per week of an hour or less each (some days are part yoga, part traditional workout). Throughout the eight weeks, you will progress toward poses of increasing difficulty and be led in how to experiment with these in a safe manner.

Elan is known around Fitocracy for her kettlebell finesse and is the creator of the popular 8-Week Kettlebell Shred. What some don't know, however, is that she is a power yoga instructor in addition to being a personal trainer. For far less than the cost of studio classes, you get clear yoga instruction and strength training targeted at advancing your practice. The yoga body you build along the way is just a bonus!



What equipment do I need?
All you will need are some yoga basics (often available to purchase in kits) - a mat, two blocks, and a strap.
Do I need to be an advanced yogi?
You do not have to be advanced, although a solid beginner foundation in yoga will be helpful. We will work toward intermediate postures like arm balances, but all levels can participate
What sorts of changes can I expect in my body?
Yoga Body primarily focuses on building the strength and flexibility needed to achieve difficult postures. With a healthy diet, however, you can achieve a body transformation (sample diet included).
What happens if I can't do a particular pose?
I offer options for modifications throughout the videos and am happy to discuss ways to tailor the written workouts to your needs.
