An intermediate course for men and women that requires bodyweight (no gym)

  • Access to treadmill beneficial but not essential

Overview

A continuation of the program with emphasis on the application of a range of techniques from the original course.

Discover Running has touched upon some of the tools at our disposal to make us better - stronger, fitter, enduring - runners.

The scheduled workouts will feature upper and core bodyweight and/or resistance exercises where appropriate, plus suggestions for warm-up, cool down and stretching, to benefit the whole body.

This continuation of the original Discover Running will aim to push the time and distance covered over the course of a few months.

My aim/goal is for my clients to feel the physical and psychological benefits of regular running and exercise.

FAQs

What if I miss a workout due to other commitments?
That's not usually a problem - the schedule is pretty flexible so we can work around other commitments.
What if I've never run before?
Again, not a problem. In many ways it can be a good thing coming in 'fresh'
What if I've done some recreational running but never far or often?
That's the primary reason for this course - to attempt to create a regular pattern which starts gradually and builds in both time and distance.
Can I use this as training towards a specific race?
Of course! That would be ideal - that way we can work towards the goal together gradually, whilst montioring progress along the way.
I have not completed Discover Running, can I still join?
Yes. We can make a schedule/program to suit your needs no matter what level you're at.
